Suits

Suits is an American legal drama set in a fictional New York City corporate law firm, the series follows Mike Ross, a college dropout with a photographic memory, as he works as an associate for successful and charismatic attorney Harvey Specter. Suits focuses on Harvey and Mike winning lawsuits and closing cases, while at the same time hiding Mike's secret of never having attended law school It also features Rick Hoffman as Louis Litt, a neurotic, manipulative and unscrupulous financial-law partner; Meghan Markle as the ambitious, talented paralegal Rachel Zane; Sarah Rafferty as Harvey's legal secretary and confidante Donna Paulsen; and Gina Torres as the firm's control-obsessed, profit-above-all managing partner, Jessica Pearson.

While the focus of the other shows in the `Law & Order' franchise largely deal with murder cases, the SVU detectives frequently deal with crimes, such as rapes, in which the victim survives and assists authorities in the investigation.

Single mom Christy has her hands full with two children, Violet and Roscoe, and maintaining newfound sobriety, when her passive-aggressive, recovering-alcoholic mother re-enters the picture, brimming with criticisms about Christy's life. As the daughter works to be the best mother she can and to overcome mistakes she made, she must also navigate dysfunctional relationships with her married lover -- and boss -- Gabriel, and with her irresponsible ex-husband, Baxter. Despite the uphill battle, Christy tries to be positive and to stay on the path to what she wants in life.

Garage sales are an old-school waste of time, at least in the eyes of the treasure hunters featured in this real-life series. Each half-hour episode follows a group of bidders looking to strike it rich by buying repossessed storage units. They're at once detectives and gamblers, as they get only a quick flashlight-aided peek inside the units before they decide if they want to make a bid, and for how much. It's a high-stakes game that can pay off big time -- one featured collector bought a unit for $800 and sold its contents for a $40,000 profit -- or leave one sifting through the equivalent of trash.
